AWANA

One of the Programs offered at Hope Baptist Church is the AWANA program. As the AWANA pledge states, the goal of the program is to teach children about Christ and train them to serve Him. AWANA meets once a week on Sunday evening from 5:45 pm to 7:15 pm . This time is divided into three sections:

Handbook Time- the children recite Bible verses they have memorized
Game Time- they learn games in which they can compete with one another at the AWANA Olympics with other churches.
Council Time- A leader shares a biblical message.

Hope's AWANA program has the following age groups:

Cubbies- 3-4 yr. olds
Sparks- K5 to 2nd grade
T&T (Truth and Training)- 3rd-6th grades

The success of this program depends greatly on the dedication and leadership of the adults who volunteer. We thank the Lord for these folks and pray for His blessings upon them.
